I actually found myself really liking Editing Techniques. I tried to have fun with all my projects, especially with this video where I took audio from the movie Fight Club, to video of Pokemon.

I also would love to do music videos. I played around for a music ad for the band 30 Seconds to Mars.

Texturing & Lighting

I took both Material & Lighting and Advance Texture & Lighting with Sam Shpigelman and I immediately fell in love. The critical thinking and the way you start looking at objects and nature as just a point light or texture is amazing. I would not mind doing this for a living. I know I need more work on these projects, but I definitely have a passion within this area.

I was the lead character designer for a 1 min short animation for 2D animation studio class. Within 11 weeks, we were challenged to create, brainstorm, design, and produce an original animation. here are the main character turn-around and sample expressions I did.

This concept project challenged me to make different races, creatures and backgrounds for a single story. I had to make sure not only to keep a consistent style, but to also keep a consistent dedication to every piece. It was challenging to make sure my characters will fit in my backgrounds and vise versa.

Traditional Paintings

I really like hands-on medias, especially painting. Practicing with watercolours and acrylics helps even more when painting in photoshop. I have to admit, I miss the "undo" button while painting though. But like I said, more practice helps me plan out my steps and layers to get the look that I'm looking for. If I had to choose between watercolours and acrylic, I think I would have to go with acrylic.
